Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about how Apex and Exit works. Reach out on Ko-fi if yours isn't answered here.

What is Apex and Exit?

Apex and Exit is a companion site for iRacing drivers. It tracks the current race schedule, series, tracks, and cars, and lets you build a personalized calendar from the content you actually own by starring favorite series and marking owned cars and tracks.

Is Apex and Exit affiliated with iRacing?

No. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, LLC. All trademarks and registered trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

Is Apex and Exit free to use?

Yes, Apex and Exit is free. If you find it useful, you can support ongoing development with a donation on Ko-fi, but there's no paywall on any schedule, series, track, or car data.

How often is the schedule data updated?

The site's backend automatically pulls fresh data from the iRacing API every 24 hours, and each new site deploy picks up the latest schedules, series, tracks, and cars.

Do I need an account to track my favorites and owned content?

Yes. Favorites, owned cars and tracks, and My Schedule require a free account. Your favorites follow that account onto every device you sign in on, and so do your owned cars and tracks once you link your iRacing account. Ownership you mark by hand without a linked iRacing account stays in the browser you marked it in. Browsing the weekly schedule, series, tracks, and cars needs no account at all.

How do iRacing seasons and the 12-week schedule work?

iRacing seasons run on a 12-week competitive cycle, with a 13th week reserved as an off-season break before the next season begins. Apex and Exit reflects this cycle directly in its weekly schedule views.
